Agricultural Animal Care And Use Program (AACUP)
The missions of AACUP at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign are:
1) to ensure high quality care and promote health and well-being for agricultural
animals used in research and teaching;
2) to provide training, educational resources, consultation, and technical assistance
to faculty, students, and staff involved in the care and use of agricultural
animals in research and teaching;
3) to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, guidelines, and professional
standards related to the use of agricultural animals in research and teaching.
